Auto Expo 2025: Key launches and unveilings to watch for
The Auto Expo 2025 will see some major vehicle launches, showcasing and premiers by automakers across different segments including passenger vehicles, two-wheelers etc. Some of the key passenger vehicles and two-wheelers that are slated to be showcased at the event will include Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Sierra EV, VinFast VF7, VinFast VF9, BYD Sealion 7, MG Cyberster, MG M9, MG 7 Trophy, new Skoda Octavia, Hero Xoom 125R, Hero Xoom 160R, TVS’ new adventure motorcycle, Bajaj’s second CNG motorcycle etc.
Auto Expo 2025: How to reach venue
The Auto Expo 2025 will be held under the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and it will be hosted at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Bharat Mandapam will also host the Tyre Show, Battery Show, Mobility Tech, Steel Innovation, and India Cycle Show. For visitors attending the Auto Expo at Bharat Mandapam, the Supreme Court Metro Station (Blue Line) will be the closest and walkable to the venue. The Blue Line metro is connected with all other metro lines, which allows you to reach the venue from any end of Delhi NCR. Besides that, you can take a cab or your private vehicle to reach the venue. Also, there are buses available on this route as well.
Auto Expo 2025: Star boys of today!
The country’s largest carmaker is taking on the second-largest carmaker in what promises to be an electric battle. While Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be unveiled with India as its first home, Hyundai Creta EV will be launched soon after. Both electric SUVs will take on the the likes of Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6 and more in a potentially riveting contest.

Auto Expo: A brief history of India’s epic motoring show
Did you know that Auto Expo is a millenial? Yes, started back in 1986, the event turns 39 years old this year. Organised as a biennial show in years gone by, it was organised at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan till 2012. Post this year, it shifted homes to Greater Noida’s India Expo Mart before returning to the revamped Pragati Maidan, now called Bharat Mandapam in 2023.
Interestingly, the first-ever Auto Expo was marked by then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and was held over nine days, between January 3 and 11.
Auto Expo 2025 is the 17th edition of the show and promises to be bigger and better than ever before. And for the first time in a long, long time, entry to the event has been made free.
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in numbers
- Three venues for each of the three main events
- Over 30 automakers to converge at Bharat Mandapam
- In all, over 800 OEMs participating in Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
- Bharat Mandapam, home to Auto Expo 2025, boasts of a built-up area of 390,000 sq. metres and is spread over 123 acres.
- Yashoboomi, home to the components show, is spread over 200 acres.
- As many as 40 new product expected to be launched at Auto Expo alone.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate Bharat Mobility Global Expo
PM Modi will be here at Bharat Mandapam later today to inaugurate the automotive expo. It is also confirmed that he will personally inspect many of the vehicles that have been put on display by a number of manufacturers in attendance.
